This SMS Messaging Policy describes how Valley AI LLC (“Valley AI”) and its business clients send SMS messages as part of operational workflow services. Valley AI operates as a software platform that enables home service businesses to communicate with their customers and staff via SMS in connection with missed-call recovery, scheduling, follow-ups, technician coordination, and other operational workflows.
SMS messages sent through Valley AI services originate from home service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, roofing, electrical, contracting, and similar trades) that use Valley AI software to automate their customer and staff communications. Valley AI provides the technology platform; the business client is the message sender.
Messages may be sent from short codes, long codes (10-digit local numbers), or toll-free numbers assigned to or used by the business client.
Valley AI-powered workflows may send the following types of SMS messages:
SMS messages are sent based on one or more of the following consent bases:
Many Valley AI messages are transactional or operationally triggered — such as a response to a missed call from a customer who initiated contact with the business. In these cases, the customer’s act of calling the business establishes a legitimate basis for follow-up contact in connection with their inquiry.
For ongoing communications (such as promotional follow-ups or recurring notifications), explicit consent is obtained by the business client through:
Business clients are responsible for obtaining and documenting appropriate consent from their customers prior to enrolling them in recurring SMS workflows.
Technicians and employees who receive operational SMS alerts (such as dispatch notifications and lead alerts) opt in as part of their onboarding or employment agreement with the business client.
Recipients may opt out of SMS messages from any Valley AI-powered workflow at any time by replying STOP to any message received.
Upon receiving a STOP reply:
Opt-out requests are processed promptly and in accordance with applicable carrier requirements.
Recipients who reply HELP to any message will receive a response identifying the business and providing contact information for support.
Example HELP response: “For help with messages from [Business Name] powered by Valley AI, contact support@valleyai.biz or reply STOP to opt out.”
You may also contact Valley AI directly at support@valleyai.biz with any questions about messages you have received.
Message frequency varies depending on the type of workflow and the business client’s operational activity. Recipients may receive:
Message frequency is controlled by the business client’s workflow configuration. Valley AI does not send unsolicited bulk SMS messages.
Message and data rates may apply. Standard carrier messaging rates apply to all SMS messages sent and received. Contact your wireless carrier for details about your plan’s messaging rates.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. Message delivery depends on carrier network availability and the recipient’s device and plan. Valley AI is not responsible for delivery failures caused by carrier issues.
